Doublet from the fall collection blue mire’s mirror, or the history of the amorous jilt with silk finished with cotton pleats and shell button fastens. The silk doublet is reversible and varies in color from scarlet to light pink to white. The original doublet worn by the noble was probably dark crimson originally. Pattern modified to fit a person with breasts.

A white cambric chemisette made from an antique napkin inscribed with the name ‘Clefe Chase’ unless you see something different. Silk drawstring tape measuring 32” in length is drawn through at the neck and waist to tie at the sides. Hand stitched for the fall collection.
