Maker’s Policy

I source the materials, conceive custom pieces, and render a creative service. This work is detail oriented, service-based and client centered.  With love, I design, cut, sew, paint, embroider, and hand finish pieces custom to each client based on their needs and my abilities. Each project is an energetic process that consumes hours, days, and sometimes weeks or months of my life but also the lives and energy of my friends and family who help me maintain my business, my creativity and my passion. It is a craft and original artistic practice that is set up in opposition to the ruthless consumer culture that dominates our world, politics, and priorities. My work is my life, my family, my friends, my hands, my body and my precious moments on Earth. It is for this reason that I do not do returns or reimbursements under any circumstances for custom or custom finished pieces. My goal is to make a beautiful object in my style for you to enjoy for as long as possible. When you put down a deposit, we are bound by this premise with the respect and dignity that every artist or craftsperson deserves: time to create the piece with joy and skill, understanding and communication for smooth transactions, fittings, repairs and adjustments, etc.

Thank you to all my clients, friends and family members who have supported me through my work and I am so grateful to be able to share my world with others in this life.

In gratitude,

Ella
